Dear xxxxx MP
Recently I have been made aware of a forthcoming Westminster Hall debate at 4.30pm on the 13th November 2017, that is taking place after the petition ‘Another Scottish independence referendum should not be allowed to happen’ reached 221,514 signatures.
I would be grateful if you could attend the debate and use this opportunity to make clear that the majority of Scottish people, over two million, voted to stay in the UK in 2014; the biggest vote cast in Scottish history. It is time that this result is upheld, and the uncertainty over a possible second independence referendum is removed.
Yours sincerely
