Four Peaks Challenge

George Wilkinson and John Copeland (Scotland in Union's Renfrewshire team), are doing the Four Peaks Challenge to raise money for Shelter Scotland.


George is an experienced hill-walker and mountaineer who has climbed every mountain in the British Isles over 3000 ft, and he's also climbed in many regions of the Alps, the Pyrenees, Alaska and Canada. John will be there throughout the challenge, supporting George the entire way.


They are hoping to raise £500 for Shelter Scotland. It is a charity which does a lot of good work and we hope whatever the amount raised, it will go a long way to helping people. It's a tragedy that homelessness in rising in 2019. You can donate here.

The first climb will be Tuesday 25th June (Snowdon) North Wales. Then it's on to the Lake District to climb Scafell Pike (England) on Wednesday. Friday it will Slieve Donnard (Northern Ireland), and finally on the Saturday, Ben Nevis (Scotland).
